Vision

A letter from the founder.

I came to London with not much, and nobody owed me anything. The city gave me a desk, a market, a first customer, and a room of people who did not laugh.

Since then I have built companies, and a team that now runs them without me on most days, because the people in them own them. That was the most important thing I learned, and it is the reason Whitmont can exist.

Whitmont is not a company I will sell. It is the thing I intend to do for the rest of my life. A school and a fund in one building, for small technical teams building in the categories that are only now emerging, in the city that took me in.

It has not started. I am not raising money and I am not taking applications. I am publishing research, because I would rather be read for years before I am trusted with anyone's time.

I have kept every promise I have made in business. This is the largest one.

If you are building something, leave your name. If you might take part one day, leave your name. When the facts change, you will hear it here first.
